4 SCIENCE ABOUT BURNOUT

Science about burnout starts with the landmark article in 1974 of psycholgist named dr. Freudenberger (PhD), who named some of his nurses 'burned out'. He wrote a scientific article named 'Staff burn-out' (JOURNAL OF SOCIAL ISSUES, Volume 30, Issue 1, Winter 1974, Pages: 159–165, Wiley & Sons)

Herbert Freudenberger PhD

Unfortunately, the original article is not for free, it costs 42 USD. But the article is so good some people even say 'all burnout reseach between 1974-2014 is futile, except the gain of the MBI and SMBQ tests'

PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF BURNOUT

Because the physicians' comunity and political community contain 'hardliners' who deny the existence of any that is not visible, it would suit burnout well to have some kind of phycical evidence.

Our neuroscientest in 2013 launched the 'theorem of the overexcited neuron': http://burnout.nl/docs/Theorem-burnout-over-excited-neuron-cells-Blankert-2013.pdf

All attempts to neuroimagine burnout 'with may hypotheses) with fMRI have failed. The dissertation of Paula Mommersteeg invested all possible cortisol related measurements but failed.

FIRST SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION: NEUROINLAMMATION IN BURNOUT PATIENTS - 2014

On September 7, 2014, our neuroscientist Jean Philippe Blankert presented his paper 'Neuroinflammation in burnout patients' (pdf)

It was accepted. You can double click, or google for DIOI

DOI: 10.13140/2.1.4390.8481

On July 10, 2014, Blankert already stated:

'Burnout is an immunological disease: emotional allergies, with NO PHYSICAL pathogen, cause an immunological reaction that is visible through neuroinflammation in the brains'

The first party that will be able to confirm or deny Blankert's deduction and statement is the PNIRS, PNIRS.org, PsychoNeuroImmunology Research Society.
